Who We Are:

Thank you for taking the time to learn about the McNair PTA. We hope this site provides you with lots of information about who we are as well as what we do. We encourage all our McNair families to join us in supporting our children and fostering the important relationship between school and home. Please take a look around and contact us with any questions or comments. After all, this is YOUR PTA!

What YOU need to know about the McNair PTA:

Who we are: We are parents, teachers, administrators and family members who are committed to our children by promoting an environment in our school and our community that provides opportunities for their growth into healthy and happy responsible citizens.

What we do: The PTA is responsible for events, programs and clubs that our children and community enjoy. We do this by providing the planning, volunteers and/or the funds that make these things possible. That is why your membership and support of our PTA through participation in our fundraisers, attendance at events and the generous gift of your time are so important to the PTA.

How you can help: We know first hand that time is precious and money is tight in this economy. Some people have more of one than the other and we understand. Which is why we have so many opportunities for everyone to participate in whichever manner suits their families needs. 10 Minutes or 10 hours. At home or at school. Any and all time you spend volunteering benefits your child and our school and is greatly appreciated. Our volunteers are the people who make everything we do possible.

How to join: Complete the membership form and send it along with your dues to school with your child. These dues go to fund the clubs, events and programs and without these funds we wouldn't be able to provide so much for our children. Each member of your family is welcome to join, as well as any other friends and family who are interested in supporting your child and our school.  You will receive a membership card which entitles you to discounts at stores and businesses  that have partnered with the National PTA. You will also have a vote in the running of the PTA at our monthly meetings.
